Varant Yegparian tries cases. Over nearly twenty years at AmLaw 100 firms and Chambers-ranked trial boutiques, he has taken more than ten commercial matters to verdict or final award, and he builds every case from day one as though it will be the next. That approach produces results. He won a $50 million summary judgment for one of the nation's largest cities in a dispute arising out of a $2 billion water infrastructure project, a ruling that drove the case to a favorable settlement. He took a national health clinic's trade secret claim through arbitration to a seven-figure award that included every dollar of attorney's fees and punitive damages. He has secured full-liability jury verdicts, take-nothing defense verdicts, and settlements reached on the eve of trial, for plaintiffs and defendants alike.

His practice is complex commercial litigation, with particular depth in two areas: technology disputes, including trade secret theft, software and systems failures, and founder and partnership fights; and large-scale construction litigation. He represents companies and individuals when the stakes are high, the facts are technical, and the case needs a lawyer who can actually try it.

Varant's instinct for the courtroom started long before law school. A competitive debater who went on to coach UT's debate team, he has spent his life building and delivering arguments under pressure, the discipline that now shapes how he frames a case and tries it. He founded Yegparian PLLC to practice that way: with a trial lawyer's judgment applied from the first filing to the verdict, and without the layers that separate a client from the person actually running the case. He litigates in all four federal districts in Texas, the Texas state trial courts, and the Texas courts of appeals.
